Why I Chose Peak Pilates for My Comprehensive Certification
Although I'm already certified as a Reformer Pilates instructor, I've always believed that learning never stops.
This summer I'm beginning the Peak Pilates Comprehensive Certification, covering Mat, Reformer and the full Pilates apparatus. The official course starts in August, but I've already received access to the educational materials and have started studying the exercises, anatomy and the principles behind the method.
For me, becoming a better instructor isn't about learning more exercises—it's about understanding why each movement exists, how the body responds to it, and how to choose the right exercise for each individual client.
What is Peak Pilates?
Peak Pilates is one of the leading Pilates education systems in the United States. Its comprehensive certification is rooted in the principles of classical Pilates, preserving the work originally developed by Joseph Pilates while preparing instructors to teach with confidence, precision and a deep understanding of movement.
The program covers the complete Pilates system—not only the Reformer, but also Mat work and the traditional apparatus, allowing instructors to understand how every piece fits together as one method.
Why This Matters
As an instructor, I want every session to be based on knowledge rather than routine.
My goal is to continue offering thoughtful, high-quality Reformer Pilates classes in Bucharest, helping my clients improve posture, build strength, move with better control and feel stronger in everyday life.
I believe the best teachers are always students first, and I'm excited to continue growing through this next chapter of my Pilates education.
